Just wondering what anyone thinks of air popped popcorn is a good treat for budgies [or other birds] No salt, oil, or butter, and of course no unpopped seeds. Just plain. I don't mind the mess, gotta clean trays, floor anyway from chunks of carrots, broccoli, bagales etc. they chew up and throw out on the floor when they're done. Alice

Hi,
I used to feed popcorn as a treat to my cockatiels some years ago. They really enjoyed it. I remember seeing it used as cage flooring in a pet shop in Hawaii as well. The thing is that you only want to feed it as an occasional treat.
