Hi,
I have recently acquired a new member to my flock and she is a biter! Atti comes from a neglected background so she has a few bad habits. Whenever we need to put our hands into the cage, she bites (thankfully its not as hard as one of our other budgies). She has climbed out of the cage and onto my finger without a problem but then got a bit startled so she climbed back in. She is also eating through some of her toys. She has cuttle bone and a mineral block in there but I don't think she has seen them before so she ignores them. Any ideas about how I can get her to not bite inside the cage? How can I teach her that biting is bad? How can I encourage her to use a cuttle bone and mineral block instead of tearing about the toys?
Thanks, Karenteresa
