I just thought I'd give this hint about stuffing your turkey that I came about yrs. ago. After you spent so much time making that special stuffing, so much gets lost in the inside ribs. I take a few soft slices of bread and push them into the ribs untill flat, than put the stuffing in the cavity. I put the turkey in a stand-up pot. and when full I put soft bread tucked in to hold stuffing and any other open place. This replaces using any nails or string, the bread just puffs up. I don't stuff the neck part because it alwars falls out on me. I bake any extra in a baking dish. ' Oh, take it out of the pot and put in the roasting pan. ' Alice Have a nice holiday, and remember your love ones, past and present. A prayer to to all.

I don't stuff my turkey because the stuffing t=is the most popular part of the meal, so there' never enough that way. I make it seperate in a HUGE casserole!
Good tip though.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
