This is a cute and paste, but everyone says they are GREAT!
Firecrackers
1 box saltine crackers (with 4 sleeves of crackers) 1 1/2 cup canola oil 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (be sure that it is the milk recipe) 1 tsp Onion powder 1 tsp Garlic powder 1 tsp Dill 2 tsp dried Crushed Red Peppers 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Mix all of the dry ingredients together in one bowl.
Place crackers in a large bowl or container (I like to use the 2 gallon ziploc bags) and shake dry ingredients over crackers. Close container and slowly turn it over to mix dry seasonings with crackers or if in a big bowl, carefully stir with a spoon.
Pour oil over crackers, close container and turn over slowly several times or stir carefully.
Mix every 15 minutes for one hour (4 times).
The crackers taste best on the day after you make them. It gives the seasonings and oil time to permeate the crackers.
