1 - Crock Pot 2lbs - Fully Cooked Frozen Meatballs (I used the plain meatballs, I'm sure you could use the Italian MB's) 16oz - Catalina Dressing (1 bottle) 12oz - Orange Marmalade (1 sm jar) 3T - Worcestershire Sauce 1/2t red pepper flakes, optional (I didn't use)
Place frozen meatballs in the crock pot. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the meatballs. Stir the meatballs, so the sauce coats them. Cook for 2-3 hours, on high.
This dish was a hit, at my New Year's Party! The hardest part of preparation was opening the bottles, mixing the ingredients, pouring it over the meatballs, and stirring the meatballs!!! ;D ;D ;D
BTW, I saw this being prepared on the Food Network; Sandra Lee's Semi-Home Made Program.

I'm one to make my own meat balls. However, they never seem to like me when I cook them. Try as hard as I can to gently turn them and they all break up into meat ball chucks. I guess it was ok after I poured a can of undiluted cream of mushroom soup over them. My brother never complained although we did giggle how they always broke up. Yours sound really good.

'Orange Marmalade' LOVE IT. Sounds good to me... I always make my own meatballs too, but started using the frozen ones too for quick meals for the kids 'Mama Roses' [sp.?] Well, I made homemade ones not long ago and they said they taste like meatloaf which they like, but like the frozen ones better, picky-eaters.
Kerry, if your making meatballs in tomatoe sauce, you have to drop a few at a time and stir to make them firm, and than add the rest slowly stirring & simmer. If your making meatballs for others recipes, bake them on a cookie sheet at 250 and roll them around every 10 min. untill done. I also do this with sausage so the sauce is'nt greasy. Surprise your brother with whole meatballs, but don't tell him you got this hint on a 'bird site' he might go out and count your birds to see who's missing. Just kidding. Alice
