OK here is a recipe from another board. Going to have to try this!
My dad made candy and confections for a living and he gave me this recipe.
Bob's Key Lime Pie 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 8 oz package cream cheese 1/2 - 3/4 cup lime juice (to taste) 1 graham cracker crust
Combine milk and cream cheese and blend well until very smooth. Stir in lime juice and pour into crust. Refrigerate for AT LEAST 4 hours or pie will be runny.
**Now, you can make this with regular, low-fat, or fat-free ingredients and it comes out just as good however you do it. You can even get reduced fat graham cracker crusts.

'OH Boy' Henry is the pie maker & I Love lemon or lime. He makes banana cream pies with instant pudding & real banana's- choc.- cream cheese ones-etc. using those graham cracker crusts, Topped with wipped-cream. Low- fat? no way!
OK, Question. We always use Carnation 'Evaporated Milk' not condensed. I never noticed any saying 'sweetened' The cans sometimes come with recipes taped on top. The one I have in front of me has one for 'cheesy mashed potatoes' just using evap. milk & cheddar & butter. Alice

Hi Alice. Sweetened condensed milk is different than evaporated milk. Eagle Brand comes to mind. I love anything lemon or lime too.
I just won a cake bake-off with a Paula Deen apple cake. It was sooooooo good! The funny thing is that the prize I won was a gift basket with measuring cups, dishtowels and a PAULA DEEN cookbook! I'm going to bake one for my family this weekend. If you like apple/spice type cakes, it's one to try. If anyone's interested in the recipe let me know.
