Go to www.foodnetwork.com and type in - Grandgirl's Fresh Apple Cake from Georgia. It's a Paula Deen recipe. Sooooo good! 1 cup of vegetable oil is plenty. Poke a few holes in the cake before you pour on the sauce. I used a bundt pan and made a simple glaze for the top. Enjoy!

I like coconut pecans apples etc. I like almost everything LOL umm, leaving the cake in the pan with the sauce on top for an hr. must be so it sets only on the top. I always use a butter knife on the side of the pan to loosen it-tap the bottom and put it on a rack hot. She must have a secret way getting it out without finger prints. Oh, just thought of it! She probably uses one of those spring-loaded pans. Dud!! Alice
