Alice you have some pretty budgies, and they look like they're very entertaining.

Pretty birdies, so to speak. I don't see a cockatiel. Is "Tiel" the name of a budgie?

Hi Alice,
They're really pretty birds! I agree completely with Michael. I noticed that at least one of them has on an ankle bracelet. We had a bad experience with one some years ago and have always had them removed since then.
My husband awakened one morning to find the 'keet hanging from one of his bars by the bracelet. He was able to free him and then took him to the vet who removed the ring. His leg was injured for some weeks after that.
The bracelet can easily be removed by a vet.

Sheila, 'yes' they are very entertaining, wish I could get pics. of them throwing things out of the cage, etc. or carrying around a chunk of carrot around as big as their heads. Reminds me of the song 'High Hopes'
Micheal, 'no cockatiel' Just named her Tiel [budgie] because she is not a real green color and has no black markings, they are all a gray color on wings etc.
Sivin, they all have an ankle ID ring. I have mixed feelings about having them removed. So far, crosed-fingers, they've been OK with them. Will think about it. Sorry to hear about your misshap with your bird that got caught on a bar in the cage. Will look over their cage and their ID rings. Thanks for your advice.
Just gotta love these little buggers! Had 'Pretty Boy' when we got married ages ago, and my son's [S.] when he was 10. Both lived well over 10 yrs.
