I think I posted this before that nephew's son, 12yr. [ who wanted them ] just got tired of them, & 3 yr. brother kept letting them loose. So Mom said she didn't want to take care of them when he said he would. They are not tame, only seed diet. I felt sorry for them with no interaction, so I siad I will work with them, keep them, or find a GOOD home for them. They are quarntined in my bath jet tub, on a large basket covered with a towel, & cage covered with a sheet 3/4 way & a night light. It's only 2 days, but they don't seem to mind the toilet flushing etc. & get lots of talking to by the kids etc. and us. No night frights when we use it either in the middle of the nite, they just hang there not moving with their tail feathers sticking out the front. They're about 1yr. they said. So here goes- cage they came in. I put them in new cage I had. Had to laugh at them trying new swings that moved, but they got the hang of it now. Won't go near toys or other food dishes, but that will take some time. Clickabe to make larger. Alice

4 days now and I could put my hand in the cage to clean grates & clean pull-out tray. They just don't want to be touched etc. yet. They finally ate some millet AND they ate some egg & grated carrot I put in an inside dish, but didn't touch the pellet one yet. They found the pull-out seed & water dishes fine, and love the swings, but have to be together all the time. Won't go near the toys yet, I guess I'm so use to ours trashing everything around. LOL Alice

Alice they're so adorable. You might try putting some pellets in a feed dish up high, by a perch that is higher up, in the cage. G'luck!
