OK I'm throwing a bit of a pity party and you all get to weigh in. I sold one of baby Moutaches from last year's hatch. She's going to GA on Monday and has to make a connection puddle jumper to a smaller airport. Delta doesn't ship when the temp hits 85*. She has to be on the first flight out. That means I have to HAVE her at the airport at 4:00 AM. I am SO not a morning person. I need the space so she has to go, so if you roll over on Monday morning at 3:00 AM and look at the clock think kind thought for us! Remember I will be able to hear your, "better you than me" thoughts.

ummm, I think it will be 5am in Ct. I won't be looking at the clock at 3am because it's on Henry's side on the night table. When the alarm goes off, I give him a shove, push and put my head under the pillow. LOL I'm not a morning person any more either. If I can get any extra rest, it's great. Alice

Well I did alright on Monday for not really having but a few hrs of sleep. I did turn the lights off a 9:00 pm, but woke up ever hr on the hr until 1:00 am then slept till the alarm went off at 2:55 am. Got up and turned the light on for the little girl, then went and got dressed, cut up her apple and cleaned a carrot for her as well. She was NOT pleased at being caught in a towel and given an good oral dose of Bird Calm for the trip! We were out the door by 3:15 am. Only a few cars on the highway at that hr. I could tell I was sleep deprived because I was having some trouble finding the ramp (not lit well) even with the sign. I also miss remembered which Crossunder I was to take, thought it was #2, but knew that was WAY too early. It was really Crossunder #6, thank goodness I remember land marks. We got to Air-cargo center a bit early so that was fun sitting and listening to the radio until they opened the doors at 4:00 am. There was one other guy there shipping a large dog, so I didn't feel so silly getting up that early. I was amazed at how much traffic was on the road at 4:30 am though! Got home and crashed for a few hrs - made it into work at 9:30 am. I got a message later that day that the lady just loves her new hen! ;D YEA ;D I was a bit nervous. Earlier this year I had a real crazy woman get viscously mean when she changed the criteria she wanted for the bird she ordered AFTER she got him. The bird was a breeder. After she got him she was boiling mad that he was not pet friendly. My ad specifically stated he was a breeder bird. When we e-mailed each other she wanted a breeder bird, but one that would not attack her when she serviced the cage. That is what I sold her. She got kicked off the sales list when she continued to post all kinds of horrid things about me. The list owners were kind enough to remove it all. I have been selling and shipping birds for years. This was the first truly crazy person I have run into.
