Grand National Budgie Show was a BLAST!!! What a party!!! ;D ;D What beautiful birds!!!! What a GREAT time seeing old friends and making new ones!!!
Oh I need a to take a few days to recover and rest up!!!
I ran off and forgot to take the show report this morning. I believe there were 435 birds in the show from all over the U.S. There were birds in all the division - Junior, Novice, Intermediate, Champion.
There were a LOT of birds donated for the auction. I think 1 pr when for $900. The live band was great with lots of dancing. Most of the ladies dressed in formal wear. There was a 200 year old antique platter that was donated as a door prize. Dinner was prime rib that just melted in your mouth. The served Pop's wine. Which was home made red wine that was soooooo smooth and light. Having had experience with this I knew to be careful, it
will sneek up on you.
